I would never have predicted in my early days aspiring to be a pro French Horn player and assiduously avoiding anything that looked like a leadership role—or in the series of my first short career hops trying to engage both sides of my restless brain—that I’d end up as a marketing strategist advancing some of the planet’s most iconic brands, including a Fortune 500 company.
